  • How can you register for the SPOOKS online shop?

    We are pleased that you would like to register in our onlineshop. It is only a few short steps to open your customer account. Please click on "Sign In" and then on "CREATE AN ACCOUNT" at the top right of the page. Then please enter the requested customer data. Afterwards you have to set a password for your customer account in order to be able to log in for future orders without any problems. After registration you will receive an e-mail in which you have to confirm your customer account.

    Please note that you can also place orders as a "guest" and therefore a registered customer account is not a prerequisite for placing an order in our onlineshop.

  • Which benefits do you have with a registered customer account?

    As a registered SPOOKS customer, you have many benefits:

  • What can you do if you have forgotten your password?

    If you have forgotten the password for your SPOOKS customer account, you can easily request a new password. Please go to the sign in page, click on “My Account” and then on "Forgot your password?".

  • How can you change your password?

    You can change your password yourself at any time in your customer account on the main page of the "Your account" area under "Your user data".

  • How can you change your name/address afterwards?

    You can change your personal information at any time in your customer account under "My account". 

    Please note that for orders you have already placed, you will not be able to change the recipient or address afterwards.

  • How can you delete your customer account?

    You can permanently deactivate your customer account yourself and delete your data on the main page of the "My account" section under "Delete Account". Alternatively, you can also contact our customer service with your concern.

Order & Payment (4)

  • How do you place an order in the SPOOKS online shop?

    1. As soon as you have decided on a color and size, you can put your desired item in the shopping cart. Just click on the button "ADD TO CART".
    2. You can change your previous selection at any time until you submit your order. In order to do so, please click on the word "My Cart" in the upper right corner of the online store and then on "View and edit cart".
    3. If you are in a hurry, you can alternatively click on the "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT" button to enter your delivery address.
    4. In the cart you will find an overview of all items you have marked for your purchase so far. Here you have the possibility to change your items, remove them from the cart, choose your desired packaging type and enter gift voucher and discount codes.
    5. In the shopping cart you already have the possibility to send your order directly via PayPal or Amazon- Express.
    6. If you want to complete your order, click on "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT".
    7. In the first step "Shipping" you have to enter your e-mail address first. If you already have a customer account, a password request and the "LOGIN" button will appear. If you are not yet signed in, you can now sign in or continue the order as a "guest". Now you can enter your shipping address and choose your desired shipping method. Please check and complete your billing and shipping address.
    8. In the second step "Payment" you can choose your preferred method of payment and also have the possibility to enter gift vouchers and discount codes. In the right column you will find a summary of all the items you have selected for purchase under "Order Summary". Also, all costs of your order are listed here.
    9. Now please check your selection of color, size and quantity. Important to know: Only after your order is complete the items are reserved for you.
    10. Everything okay? After you have accepted our general terms and conditions, our privacy policy and our legal right of withdrawal by checking the provided box, click on "PLACE ORDER" to complete your order.
    11. You've done it! You will receive a confirmation of your order by e-mail shortly.
    12. If you have ordered as a signed in user and not as a guest, you can check the status of your order in your customer account under " My Orders".
    13. Your desired items will now be packed for you and will be on their way to you within a few days!
    14. As soon as your order has left our logistics, you will receive an e-mail notification.
  • Is there a maximum cart value per order?

    Please note that the maximum cart value per order excluding shipping costs is € 950.00 (gross)/ € 798.00 (net).

  • Which payment methods can you choose from?

    In our online shop you can choose from the following payment methods

    • Klarna (purchase on account)
    • PayPal
    • Sofortüberweisung (immediate transfer)
    • Creditcard (MasterCard, Visa, American Express)
    • Amazon Pay
    • Payment in advance

  • What do you have to observe when ordering with a delivery address outside the EU?

    For invoice addresses outside the EU, the delivery address cannot be within the EU.

    For delivery addresses outside the EU, the billing address cannot be within the EU.

    For deliveries to countries outside the EU, import duties or taxes may be due upon delivery of your order. You are responsible for paying these import duties and taxes. We recommend that you contact the local customs office in your country of delivery for further information.

  • What general instructions apply to the delivery of your order?

    Regardless of the recipient country orders are usually ready for shipment within 1-3 working days from Monday to Friday.

    As soon as your order leaves our logistics, you will receive an e-mail notification with your DHL tracking number and a DHL tracking link. You can track the status of your shipment by clicking on the link or by entering your shipment number in the DHL Tracking portal.

    If you have a registered SPOOKS account, your DHL shipment number and the respective shipment status will also be displayed under "My orders" in the "My account" area.

    Experience shows that the delivery time within Germany and to countries of the EU is 1 to 3 working days in standard shipping with DHL.

    The delivery time to countries outside the EU is at least 5 to 9 working days for standard shipping with DHL.

    Unfortunately, we cannot influence the delivery time after handing over your package to our carrier DHL.

  • What do you have to observe for the delivery to countries outside the EU?

    For invoice addresses outside the EU, the delivery address cannot be within the EU.

    For delivery addresses outside the EU, the billing address cannot be within the EU.

    For deliveries to countries outside the EU, import duties or taxes may be due upon delivery of your order. You are responsible for paying these import duties and taxes. We recommend that you contact the local customs office in your country of delivery for further information.

  • What does standard shipping mean and how much does it cost?

    All prices for the products available in our online store include the statutory VAT plus shipping costs. The respective shipping costs for your order can be found in the following list:

    Germany

    € 4,90 - free shipping for orders over € 49,90

    All other EU countries

    € 7,90 - free shipping for orders over € 49,90

    Switzerland

    € 9,90 - free shipping for orders over € 79,90 (net)

    If the indicated minimum order value is undercut by return of one or more items of an originally, by exceeding the minimum order value, free of shipping costs order, then the shipping costs are to be covered subsequently by the customer. In this case, the listed shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount for a return shipment.

  • What does express shipping mean and how much does it cost?

    You cannot wait any longer and want your SPOOKS order to be delivered to you as soon as possible? For selected delivery countries we offer you the chargeable delivery by DHL Express.

    Express orders that we receive until 2 p.m. (CET) will be handed over to DHL Express on the same day.

    Express shipping within Germany

    DHL Express guarantees delivery on the next working day (Mon-Fri) until 6 pm.

    For all express orders within Germany the costs for express delivery with DHL are:

  • What do you have to observe for express shipping?

    Express orders are only delivered by DHL Express from Monday to Friday.

    Express orders will not be delivered on Saturdays, Sundays & public holidays!

    Express orders are only delivered by us...

    • the following working day (Mon-Fri) to DHL Express, if they are received after 2 pm (CET) from Monday to Thursday
    • handed over to DHL Express on Mondays if they are received after 2 p.m. (CET) on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays
    • handed over to DHL Express on the following working day if they are received on national holidays and/or public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia
  • What types of packaging can you choose for your order?

    Before completing your order you can choose from three different types of packaging:

    The "standard packaging" is free of charge for you and consists of either a shipping carton or a shipping bag made of recycled material.

    The "used packaging" is also free of charge for you and consists of a used packaging. Please note that we can only offer you shipping in an environmentally friendly used packaging as long as we have such packaging in stock. Otherwise, your orders will be delivered in a free SPOOKS standard packaging.

    The "SPOOKS gift box" costs € 4.90 and consists of a particularly high-quality shipping box designed in the SPOOKS look.

    Please note that your order in a SPOOKS gift box will not be accompanied by an invoice so that you can give the order away unopened. We will send you the corresponding invoice by post.

    Please also note that with this type of packaging, only a gift box is purchased. Articles in this shipping box are not packed by us as gifts!

  • What do you have to consider when ordering a delivery to a DHL Poststation?

    If you like to order online but are rarely at home to receive your SPOOKS order, then why not have your order sent to one of the 5.000 DHL Poststations throughout Germany and pick up your package when it fits into your schedule.

    Choosing a DHL Poststation as delivery address for your SPOOKS order is very easy. All you have to do is check the box "Shipping to a DHL Poststation" under "Shipping Methods" during the ordering process and fill out the following additional input fields in the next step:

    • Please enter your Poststation customer number in the "Post number" field:
    • In the next field, you can use the search function to enter your postcode to find all the Poststations in your area, including the corresponding numbers

    As soon as your order arrives at the Poststation of your choice, you will be informed by e-mail or app.

    Please note that if your package exceeds a size of 60 x 35 x 35 cm (e.g. Saddle & Dressage Pads), it cannot be delivered to a DHL poststation but will be automatically redirected to a post office. Incidentally, automatic redirection to a post office branch also takes place when a Poststation is fully occupied. If your order is redirected to a post office for one of the reasons mentioned above, you will immediately be notified by e-mail or app where you can pick up your shipment.

    Please note that deliveries to a DHL Poststation are only possible within Germany.

  • What should I bear in mind when specifying a preferred DHL location or neighbors?

    If you have agreed with DHL that your package is to be deposited at a certain preferred location or delivered to a preferred neighbor, the liability in these cases is subject to the regulations you have agreed with DHL. Please note that as a rule, DHL is not liable for damage or loss of the goods after delivery to a desired location or neighbor.

  • What do you do if your package shows signs of transport damage?

    If your SPOOKS order was delivered to you with obvious transport damage, please complain about such errors to the deliverer as soon as possible and contact us immediately. Failure to make a complaint or contact us, however, has no consequences whatsoever for your legal claims and their enforcement, especially your warranty rights. However, you will help us to assert our own claims against the carrier or the transport insurance.

Returns & Refunds (10)

  • What regulations apply to a return of your SPOOKS order?

    Basically, we grant you a voluntary right of return of 30 days for your order. During this time, you can easily cancel your purchase and return the purchased items. Please make sure that the items you return are in their original condition, not worn, with the original labels and that all parts of the original packaging are included in the return shipment. You can find further information about your right of return and cancellation in our terms & conditions.

  • Is your return necessary?

    One of the advantages of online shopping is the option to return products. What on the one hand is a great advantage for you as a customer is on the other hand a great burden for the environment. In this sense we would like to appeal to your environmental awareness before you give up your return. So please consider before you order if the product really fits you or your four-legged friend. Thank you very much!

  • What must be observed when returning reduced items?

    Even before completing your order, we will inform you on the respective product pages that the costs for the possible return of reduced items are to be covered by the buyer.

    This means that you have to return any items that you have purchased in our online shop at a reduced price to us at your own expense.

    This applies regardless of whether you make use of your legal right of revocation or our voluntary right of return.

    Please note that in case of an unjustified return of reduced items via our DHL returns portal, we will reduce your corresponding purchase price refund by the return costs (€ 4.90).

  • How do you send back a return from Germany?

    From a German sender address you can print out a free DHL return label in our online store and hand in your return shipment at a Deutsche Post branch. Your return shipment is only free of charge if you use the return label from our DHL return portal and if you are not returning reduced items. Please note that we cannot refund postage costs and in case of unjustified return of reduced items via our DHL returns portal, we will reduce your refund by the return shipping costs (€ 4.90).

    This is the right way to give up your return shipment from Germany:

    1. Fill out the return form completely
    2. Pack items incl. return form
    3. Request, print and cut out a return label via our DHL returns portal
    4. Stick on the return label and bring your parcel to a Deutsche Post branch
  • How do you send back a return from abroad?

    The customer bears the costs for returns from abroad. Please send your return sufficiently stamped to the following address:

    Unstamped or insufficiently stamped returns will not be accepted by us and will be returned to the sender.

    Please note that you are the sender of your return shipment and that we therefore have no insight into the tracking of your shipment and are not responsible for any transport damage or even for the loss of your return shipment. It is best to keep your return receipt until your return shipment is complete.

    This is the right way to give up your return shipment from abroad:

    1. Fill out the return form completely
    2. Pack items incl. return bill
    3. Send your package to the following address: SPOOKS GmbH, Oberbech 8, 51519 Odenthal/ Germany
    4. Sufficiently frank your package and hand it over to a shipping company of your choice
  • How do you exchange an item?

    Did an item not fit perfectly or do you want it in a different color?

    A direct exchange of items is currently not possible. If you want an ordered item in another color or size, you can check in our online store if the item you want is still available. Simply return your original order and purchase your desired item in a new order. Please note that the same deadlines apply for your exchange as for a return.

  • How can you complain about an item?

Please note that the processing time of your complaint can take up to 10 working days after your return shipment has been delivered.

  • How will the refund be made after a cancellation?

    If you have cancelled your order or an item is exceptionally not available, we will refund the amount paid immediately within 3 working days.

  • How are gift vouchers charged on your return?

    If you return goods that were originally paid for with a gift voucher, you will receive the corresponding refund amount as a new gift voucher by post or e-mail.

  • How are discount codes calculated on your return?

    If the discount voucher is issued in connection with a minimum order value and if this minimum order value is undercut by returning one or more items, the discount voucher is no longer redeemable. In this case the discount amount will be deducted from the refund amount.

    In the case of a cancellation, the discounted or reduced sales price will be credited.

    A discount voucher will not be refunded if all or part of the goods are returned by you.

  • What guarantee do you get for your SPOOKS products?

    Quality is a major concern for us. All our products are carefully tested under real-life conditions to ensure that they are as suitable as possible for their intended use. Should an item delivered by us nevertheless show a reason for complaint, you can of course return the item to us. As soon as we have received your complaint, we will check it.  If the product does not correspond to our quality standard, if it was damaged during the manufacturing process or if it does not arrive in the intended condition after leaving production, we will repair, exchange or issue a credit note. Please note that the processing time of your complaint can take up to 10 working days after your return shipment has been delivered.

    Basically we grant a legal warranty of 24 months. Please note that it is very important that you report a possible defect as soon as possible after you have noticed it. During the first six months (since purchase) it is assumed in your favor that the item was already defective at the time of delivery and you do not have to prove this.

    We would like to point out that the life of a product depends on the individual user, their typical wearing behaviour and the conditions under which they are worn. Products that have been damaged by normal wear and tear or have reached the end of their expected life will unfortunately not be replaced.

    We cannot provide refunds for items that have been damaged for other reasons, including negligence, misuse or wear and tear.

Gift Vouchers (4)

  • What are SPOOKS gift vouchers?

    Gift vouchers are voucher cards & PDF vouchers, which you can buy in our online shop as value vouchers.

  • What are the terms of use for gift vouchers?

    Please note, among others, the following terms of use and our terms & conditions:

    • Gift vouchers are issued exclusively in EUROS. VAT is not payable on the purchase of gift vouchers.
    • Gift vouchers can only be redeemed for the purchase of products in the online shop at www.spooks.de/.com, but not for the purchase of other gift vouchers.
    • Gift vouchers can only be redeemed prior to completion of the order process.
    • Gift vouchers are transferable and can be used by any person in possession of the voucher and have a validity of three years, starting from the end of the year in which the purchase was made. The voucher amount expires at the end of the validity period.
    • Gift vouchers are non-interest bearing and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or credit. Exceptions apply only in countries where it is required by law that the equivalent value of a gift voucher/gift card must be paid out.
    • To use the SPOOKS gift vouchers, the Customer must enter the voucher code printed on the gift voucher card in the “GIFT VOUCHER CODE” window during the ordering process.
    • The value of your gift voucher is deducted from the total value of your order (the price of the product(s), VAT and shipping costs if applicable).
    • If the value of the gift voucher card exceeds the invoice amount, the remaining credit will be credited to the voucher until the end of its validity and can be redeemed for another purchase by re-entering the voucher code.
    • If the invoice amount exceeds the total value of the gift voucher, the difference can be settled using another payment method approved by SPOOKS, or by entering more gift voucher codes in the same order process. In this case, the goods will not be shipped until the outstanding balance has been received in full.
    • Gift voucher cards are sent by post. If you order a gift voucher card together with other SPOOKS items, you will usually receive the voucher card together with the other items.
    • Digital gift vouchers are sent by email as a PDF attachment.
    • If you return goods that were originally paid for using a gift voucher, you will be refunded for the corresponding amount in the form of a new gift voucher, which will be sent by post or email.
    • SPOOKS is not liable for gift vouchers that are lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without authorisation or for typos in email addresses and will not provide compensation for any losses.
    • The duplication, editing or manipulation of gift vouchers is prohibited.

  • How can I redeem gift vouchers in the SPOOKS online shop?

    This is how you can pay with gift vouchers in our online shop:

    • Put your desired item(s) in the shopping cart.
    • You can find more information about the order process here.
    • You can redeem your gift voucher in the shopping cart in this input mask:

    • After clicking "ADD GIFT CARD" you will receive either a message stating that the gift voucher has been used successfully or an error message stating why it cannot be used.
    • If the gift voucher has been successfully redeemed, you will also see this in the summary before completing the order. 

Discount Codes (4)

  • What are SPOOKS discount codes?

    Discount codes are promotions codes & discount codes that you cannot purchase from us, but which we issue as part of advertising campaigns or as a gesture of goodwill with a certain validity period.

  • What are the general terms of use for discount codes?

    Please note, among others, the following terms of use and our terms & conditions:

    • The amount of the discount or the percentage discount granted, the expiry date, the minimum order value, and the items for which a discount voucher can be used are indicated in the corresponding advertising or promotional campaign.
    • Discount amounts are always stated in EUROS.
    • Only one discount voucher can be redeemed for each order/shopping cart. However, the discount voucher can be combined with one or more gift vouchers.
    • Discount vouchers have a limited period of validity and may be restricted to a certain minimum order value or particular products, campaigns or categories.
    • Discount vouchers may only be used once per Customer and be redeemed only at www.spooks.de/.com.
    • The value of the goods must be at least equivalent to the amount of the discount voucher. Any difference to a higher value of goods can be compensated for with the payment options offered.
    • Discount vouchers cannot be used to purchase already reduced items, gift vouchers and sets.
    • Discount vouchers can no longer be redeemed if they are issued with a stipulated minimum order value and this minimum order value is not reached due to the return of one or more items. In this case, the discount amount will be deducted from the refund amount.
    • Where the right to cancellation is exercised, only the discounted or reduced sales price will be credited.
    • Discount vouchers will not be refunded if you return some or all of the goods.
    • Discount vouchers can only be redeemed prior to completion of the order process. They cannot be redeemed later on for purchases that have already been made. Discount vouchers cannot be transferred to third parties. It is not permissible to combine several discount vouchers, except where the parties have reached an alternative agreement.
    • Discount vouchers cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
    • The publication and transfer of discount vouchers for commercial purposes are prohibited. 
    • Once you have received the discount voucher, SPOOKS will accept no responsibility for its loss, theft, destruction or unauthorised redemption.
    • SPOOKS reserves the right to cancel or block a discount voucher without notification if there is a legitimate reason for such action, for example in the event of loss or misuse of the discount voucher.
    • Separate promotional terms that deviate from these provisions may apply to discount vouchers. SPOOKS will draw attention to the separate promotional terms in the specific advertising or promotional campaign.
  • What additional terms of use apply to the €10 discount code for newsletter registration?

    • When you register for the SPOOKS newsletter for the first time, you will receive a €10 discount voucher that you can redeem for a future order with a minimum order value of € 79.90.
    • The discount code will be sent to you by e-mail within 24 hours after registration for the SPOOKS newsletter.
    • This discount voucher cannot be used for the purchase of vouchers, already reduced items and set items.
    • This discount cannot be combined with other promotions and discount codes, only once per customer and only applicable in our online shop.
    • The total discount is divided proportionally on the selling prices of all discount articles. In case of a revocation the discounted sales price will be credited.
    • A rebate on purchases already made as well as cash payment of the discount amount is excluded.
    • Errors, typesetting and printing errors reserved.
  • How can I redeem discount codes in the SPOOKS online shop?

    • Put your desired item(s) in the shopping cart.

    • Check if the above mentioned terms of use apply to the item(s) in your shopping cart.
    • In the shopping cart you can enter your discount code in this input mask:

    • After clicking on "APPLY DISCOUNT" you will receive either a message stating that the discount code was successfully applied or an error message explaining why it cannot be applied to your shopping cart.
    • If the discount voucher was successfully redeemed, you will also see this in the summary before completing the order.

    3. If you have a registered customer account with us, you can cancel our newsletter in your account settings under "Your newsletters".
  • When and how do you receive the 10€ discount code for newsletter registration?

    After you have subscribed to the SPOOKS newsletter, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. As soon as you have confirmed your subscription with this link, we will send you another e-mail with your personal discount code.
